I moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado in November 2015. I had visited this town earlier that year with my dad and his cross-country running team. Although I had no intentions of moving to Colorado, I quickly fell in love with the Yampa Valley.
We visited Steamboat during the summer months, but I was excited to live there full-time to experience the winter months that attract so many tourists each year.
Mike moved to Steamboat Springs in 2012, so he had a headstart exploring the Valley. Mike and I met while working at a restaurant in Steamboat Springs, and we ended up getting married in 2018. We’ve been around the world, but nothing compares to our home in Colorado.
